Update: Dermajuv has changed its name to Dermagist. Nothing about the company or product changed, just the name.

The pain and irritation of dry, cracked feet is enough to drive anyone a little crazy. Most of us are on our feet constantly which only seems to make the irritation worse. We take the time to use body lotions or moisturizers on our feet, but with no real success. Wouldn’t it be nice to receive medical grade skin treatment with the soothing comforting sensation of a trip to the spa? Well the scientists at Dermajuv Cosmeceuticals have done just that.

Dermajuv’s Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream is hands down the most scientifically advanced foot cream we have ever seen. Dermajuv has always had a reputation for delivering top of the line, all natural ingredients to consumers at affordable prices, but this foot cream is astouding, even by their standards.

Buy Dermajuv Foot Cream

This Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream takes the entire foot into consideration and not just cracked heels, and furthermore it addresses each of the three major components to therapeutic foot care.

1.) The treatment of deep cracked and dry skin.

2.) The soothing and comforting of damaged, irritated skin.

3.) The hydration and nourishing of dry skin cells.

Each of these categories is outlined below, along with the ingredients that fulfill them. Before reading about them, take a look at the proof… customer pictures from Dermajuv.com

Dermajuv has compiled an “who’s who” of foot care ingredients to formulate what experts are calling the ultimate foot cream.

Category #1: Treat and heal the damaged, cracked and dry skin

These ingredients focus on accomplishing this task and do it WELL.

Super Sterol Liquid. This ingredient is well documented in the treatment of dry, damaged skin. Its use in the best hand creams and leading foot creams has it’s name easily recognizable by industry experts and informed consumers alike. Its ablity to repair damaged tissue while rebuilding a protective layer, or “barrier layer” as it is sometimes called, makes it the perfect cornerstone to a medical grade foot cream.

Neem Oil – Neem oil is one of the most widely searched for natural ingredient. It has so many uses the people of India call the Neem Tree, “The Village Pharmacy.” It’s use in skin care is also well documented as it is an anti-fungal, an important and common cause of foot skin conditions. It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory, and has proven to be highly effective in the soothing and healing of dry cracked skin.

Karanja Oil- Another all natural ingredient that is well documented in the treatment of cracked and dry heels. Karanja oil’s primary function is to promote wound healing and its use is documented not only in foot creams, but also in the treatment of ulcers, psoriasis and dandruff. When combined with Neem Oil, the two ingredients achieve unparalleled success.

Category #2: Soothe and Comfort damaged or irritated skin

This is the spa treatment portion of the foot cream. Each of these ingrediens has both a medical as well as aromatherapeutic reason for its inclusion, a luxurious touch on the part of Dermajuv.

Manuka Oil – Manuka Oil is an antihistamine and it rapidly removes the itchiness, irritation or skin of dry cracked skin. Within moments of application and pain or discomfort will be erased with the foot and heel revitalizing cream.

Eucalyptus Oil - Eucalytus Oil is well known for its cooling and revitalizing qualities. That soothing scent that removes exhaustion and erases mental sluggishness is known to most as an anti stress treatment. But Eucalyptus also is a highly effective antiseptic. Eucalyptus is used in the treatment of wounds, burns, ulcerns, cuts and abbraisions. It provides a wonderful dualality in this foot cream.

Pepermint Oil – Known for its relaxing and rejuvenating scent as well as its use in candy, Peppermint Oil has been being used as a medical treatment for over 10 thousand years. It contains Menthol which has a cooling, comforting sensation for the skin. It also adds a level of pain relief to this foot cream which makes it even more exciting.

Category #3: Hydrate and Nourish the skin cells

Repairing the damage and soothing the feet is only as good as long as it continues to last. Dermajuv knows this and rounds out this allstar line up of active ingredients with deep hydration and protective sealing.

Shea Butter, along with other blends of moisturizers, is the final touch that this Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream puts on this treatment. Shea Buttter is widely known for its deep and thorough moisturizing, but it also creates a protective, almost moisture protective seal on the skin, which makes it the ideal ingredient for a quality foot cream.

As you can see, this is a well designed foot cream. From serious, medical grade treatment of cracked and damaged skin to the luxurious, revitalizing mentality of a day at the spa, this foot cream does it all. We have read about Dermajuv before in other aspects of skin care, and heard of their award winning product line, but even we could not imagine just how impressive this Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream really is.

From the quality of the cream, the price, the treatment delivered, etc. across the board this is the most impressive foot cream we have ever seen, and we cannot recommend this more! Our top rated foot cream by far!

What is the difference between a store bought Foot Cream like Gold Bond and a medical grade foot cream? Read this review of Gold Bond Foot Cream to see what our experts thought and how it ranks against the best foot creams in the world. You may be surprised to see just how

Gold Bond is a brand that has been in the market place for quite some time and their products have always been good quality for the most part. Gold Bond Foot Cream is readily available in most stores and we have had many requests for us to review the product here for our readers. There are two foot creams that are offered by Gold Bond, one that is designed to treat dry skin and cracked heels (the product we are reviewing here) and a Gold Bond Pain Relieving Cream.

We decided to review the Gold Bond Foot Cream and not the Pain Relieving Foot Cream because we felt it was the more difficult of the two products to get right. Certain ingredients can provide soothing, pain relieving sensation for the feet, but it takes a more advanced formula to effectively treat the dry, cracked heels that are a common problem for so many.

To be honest, Gold Bond Foot Cream is a pretty well manufactured product. The formula has some obvious corners cut in order to save money and make affordable, but it will provide a temporary relief of dry skin conditions. We were impressed with the fact that our feet seemed to be healing very well in the first few days of use, however once we stopped applying the product twice daily, our conditions returned almost immediately for many of our subjects. It seems that their blend of moisturizers is good, it is just missing a serious tissue repair ingredient that can heal the dry damaged skin and rebuild a protective layer over the foot itself.

There are many products out there to choose from and to be honest this one is pretty good by industry standards. Clearly it is not a top of the line cream, nor does it compare to our top rated foot creams. But by all means this is an acceptable substitute in a bind, or if you left your foot cream behind. If your feet are in need of a serious treatment then obviously the store bought Gold Bond is not going to do the trick, but if a well balanced, basic foot cream is all you require, it may just fit the bill.

Foot fungus may be common, but it is disgusting. The skin problems that can result from leaving it untreated are both significant and long lasting. Recent studies have revealed that certain all natural ingredients that are used in quality foot creams may also be the anti-fungal treatment you have been searching for.

Foot fungus is a problem for many people, whether it is the typical athletes foot fungus or a more involved problem with fungus on your feet and toe nails, you want to treat it as soon as possible. But just how does someone go about treating foot fungus, without going to the doctor? Obviously there are anti fungal athlete’s foot sprays and creams that can treat that specific type of foot fungus, but for the rest of us, there are not many solutions.

Recently some of the more advanced skin care companies have been creating medical grade foot creams. These creams are designed to treat a number of common skin conditions in the feet, one of which is an anti fungal treatment. Using these foot creams on your feet regularly, you can treat dry and cracked heels and soften rough, hardend skin. You can soothe the pain of cracked heels, while providing antiseptic and antihistamine treatment to aid in the healing of the wound. And finally you can treat and prevent fungus related skin conditions common to the sweaty and dirty foot area.

These foot creams can be found fairly easily with a search of the best foot creams. Be sure to examine any foot cream for ingredients prior to making any purchases, especially one that may be significant. There are a few active ingredients that should stand out to you as important if you are trying to treat fungus related skin conditions. Make sure your foot cream contains Neem Oil. Neem oil is commonly used in the treatment of severe cracked and dry skin so there is a good chance you will find a few options that include this ingredient. What many people do no know is that Neem is used in many different types of treatment one of which is the treatment of fungus. Often times the best foot creams will include Neem because of its multipurpose properties. For you this ingredient is a winner, and it is a must have in a foot cream.

Another ingredient which is ideal for the treatment of foot fungus is Manuka Oil. Manuka Oil is generally known as an antihistamine which means that it can soothe the itchy, inflammed sensation common with many types of foot fungus. Its nice to have a foot cream that treats the problem itself at the same time that it kills off the fungus causing the discomfort.

Foot fungus has a way of continuing to spread and cause further damage up to an including a severe splitting of the skin and heels. Nails can become increasingly yellow and much thicker if left untreated. If you suspect yourself or someone that you love as having foot fungus, take the time to begin treatment today. Trust me, foot fungus is not something you want to leave untreated. And with the medical grade foot creams available today, there is no reason you should have to.

There are many types of foot creams and treatments that claim to heal cracked heels, but seldom can they deliver any more than your basic lotion. Recent developements using thousand year old ingredients have proven to have finally found an effective treatment for dry and cracked feet.

Consumers have been looking for an effective foot cream that delivers medical grade treatment for their dry cracked heals. There is nothing as unsightly or more irritating than severe dry and cracked skin. Not only is the wound itself sensative, but the entire area of tissue surrounding the crack and lines can also become inflammed and very painful.

There have been many all natural ingredients that we have used over the last thousand years which lend themself perfectly for the treatment of the foot and heel area, however for whatever reason they have not been combined until fairly recently. Neem Oil and Karanja oil are two essential oils that have been combined to produce serious treatment for cracked and dry hearls. The anti-fungal and anti inflammatory Neem soothes irritaion while stopping further damage in it’s tracks. Karanja Oil, on the other hand, is known for its tremendous wound healing powers. The two combine to be highly effective but many formulas containing them will smell absolutely terrible.

The best foot creams will take this into consideration and combine them with some of natures more pleasureable scents. The best choices for a foot cream would be Peppermint, or Eucalyptus. Both of these all natural oils have both a medical as well as aromatherapeutic properties which makes them the perfect addition. Peppermint contains Menthol which is a soothing and cooling tonic for your skin while the scent of Peppermint Oil is known for its deeply relaxing and revitalizing sensations. Eucalyptus Oil is an antiseptic so it aids dramatically in the healing of the dry or cracked skin while also providing anti stress aromas. Eucalyptus is known to erase mental sluggishness and ease exhaustion.

By choosing a foot cream that provides you an all natural solution to the unsighly, and commonly painful skin condition known as dry or cracked heels. The wound healing of Neem and Karanja oils combined with the soothing, and revitalization of Peppermint and Eucalyptus Oils makes for the ideal foot cream. Be sure that your foot cream contains each of these ingredients prior to making your next purchase, if it does not, you need to keep searching.

The pain caused by dry and cracked heals is nothing to laugh about. The damaged tissue is extremely irritated and can lead to severe skin conditions if left untreated. The author examines a how thousand year old remedies are being reformulated to instantly soothe the pain of dry and cracked heals.

Let’s face it, cracked heels hurt and getting rid of them is no easy task either. For years consumers have been dealing with the age old problem of how to moisturize your feet without them being exposed to moisture at the same time. It’s as if hydrating your skin only makes the problem worse. Well thankfully those days are gone. With today’s advancements in skin care, consumers can reasonably expect to have a rapid healing of the split or cracked tissue. What’s even better is that you can also receive instant pain relief while these treatments work, making the entire process much more enjoyable.

The key to soothing the pain of dry and cracked heels, ultimately is to heal the damaged tissue. But while all of that is happening, it sure would be nice to ease the pain immediately, and now you can. A recent development with century old ingredients has lead scientists to a break through foot and heel revitalizing treatment that has everyone talking.

The combination of thousand year old ingredients such as Peppermint Oil and Eucalyptus Oil can deliver a fast acting antiseptic, while cooling and soothing irritated tissue. The addition of Manuka Oil offers an elimination of the irritation, itchiness or sting of the damaged skin. Each of these ingredients have been used for then thousand years, but it was their recent combination with other wound healing ingredients that brought them back to the forefront of the foot cream industry. And the combination of these three ingredients is the answer you have been looking to for the short term soothing of those painful, dry and cracked heels.

Super Sterol Liquid, a well known treatment for the repair of cracked or damaged tissue, is well documented with it’s success in foot creams. But when combined with certain essential oils, the results it produces are magnified ten fold. Neem Oil and Karanja oil are also recognized by industry experts as leaders int he treament of dry and cracked skin. Neem is an anti-fungal which offers a secondary treatment while soothing and healing cracked heels. Karanja oil on the other hand focuses solely on wound healing and the repair of the tissue damage. When Neem, Sterol and Karanja are combined, scientists believe they have created the perfect cracked foot treatment. This medical grade formula is guaranteed to eliminate the problem of dry feet and cracked heels once and for all.

There are a few foot creams that will combine both the short term treatments of Peppermint and Eucalyptus as well as the long term treatments of the Super Sterol, Neem and Karanja oils, but the combination is still fairly rare. Industry experts believe that before long, this blend will be the standard that all foot creams will attempt to live up to. Until then we are left to our own devices to ensure we use the right ingredients. Lucky for us, there are tips and articles that make our lives that much easier.

As the warmer weather approaches and the world springs to life with signs of spring, it is that time of year again when we have to face what the winter months have done to our body, and our feet. The author tackles the issue of dry, cracked heals so that you can treat yours before you have to slip on some sandals.

Day Light Savings has arrived and its time to start breaking out the sandals. Before we know it we will be shedding off our frocks of winter and preparing to bear our bodies. It’s that time of year when we have to start eating right, a little exercise and hopefully we can start to get a little color on our paled complexion. But for some, spring time brings on a slightly harsher reality. The reality that before long their feet will be exposed to the masses, as seasonal footware changes gears into sandals.

The winter months on many aspects of skin care and the foot and heel region is no exception. The dry skin can become so bad for many that their heals split and crack, exposing tender tissue beneath. This is not only unsightly, it can be quite painful as well, as the tissue can become rather inflammed. In case you haven’t already come to this conclusion, I will let you in on a secret. Regular lotions and moisturizers are NOT going to treat this effectively.

In order to treat this condition and get yourself into the spring time sandals you desire, you are going to need a more substantial treatment. Do not worry, they are not expensive, but it may take you a little bit of research to make sure you purchase the very best foot cream.

In order for a foot cream to treat this severe condition it is going to need to use medical grade ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin and treat and heal the wound rapidly. We say rapidly because at the same time that it is repairing tissue, it must also be working to revitalize your protective or “barrier layer” of skin. This is protect the damaged tissue while it heals as well as the future going forward. One of the best ingredients for wound treatment and barrier rebuilding is Super Sterol Liquid. Widely recognized for its treatment of cracked tissue, super sterol liquid also creates layer of protection for the skin while it heals, making it a fantastic ingredient for a foot cream.

Another important ingredient in the reclaiming of your feet is Shea Butter. Shea Butter is a deep moisturizer that penetrates the skin, restoring cellular health. Shea Butter also aids in the creation of a protective barrier layer of your skin. It is not uncommon to see Shea Butter in a foot cream, so be sure it is combined with the likes of a Super Sterol Liquid, or Neem and Karanja oils. That will ensure you are using the best of the best.

Do not wait to begin the use of a medical grade foot cream. The sooner you are healing and rebuilding that tissue, the sooner you will be stepping out with your toes out. Don’t hide your feet from the light of day, just because your insecure. Treat them with a revitalizing foot cream today.

We all love Shea Butter in our Foot Creams, and L'Occitane's reputation for using all natural, organic ingredients precedes itself. We were eager to review this foot cream for our readers, it's priced moderately and it appears to be a decent value, but would the Shea Butter alone prove to deliver enough cracked tissue repair for this product to meet our approval.

For all of the obvious reason, we are huge fans of Shea Butter based foot creams. Shea Butter is widely recognized as the premier moisturizer and skin protector for dry foot skin and heels. The L’Occitane name is not new to us and we are a fan of the fact that they use all natural and organic ingredients as much of the best foot creams do these days. We were somewhat skeptical about whether or not the Shea Butter alone would provide enough of a therapeutic treatment for dry, cracked heals but we were certainly eager to give it a shot.

For foot creams to rank among the world’s best these days, they must be able to rapidly treat and heal the severly dry and cracked skin common to the heel area of the foot. Shea Butter is an amazing softener of difficult skin and and even better moisture sealant, but it is not known to actually treat the cracked tissue itself. And it was that aspect that we were interested to see how the L’Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream would respond.

To our displeasure, our initial concerns were confirmed. This cream is a quality and luxurious cream that absorbs wonderfully and is comfortable to wear, but it is not for the treatment of severe dry and cracked skin. Our skin was left soft and protected, but on almost all of the severe skin damage areas, the product came up short. It improved the areas and clearly Shea Butter is a wonderful ingredient, however to treat the really severe cracking, Shea Butter should be combined with other wound healing ingredients.

The product was moderately priced and offered a fair amount of product. If your feet are not really dry, and you just need a periodic maintanence we would recommend this product, but not more than any other foot cream that uses Shea Butter. Overall this is an average foot cream with average results. If you choose to purchase it do so at your own risk and undertand what this foot cream will do, and what it WILL NOT do.

As a foot cream resource blog, we try to stay on top of the latest foot creams and cracked heal treatments. A reader suggested we review this product as she found it to be quite enjoyable. Despite some initial concerns regarding the ingredients included in this foot cream, we found it to be an acceptable alternative for those with moderate to light dry skin conditions.

You may or may not have heard of this interesting little gimick foot cream. One of our readers suggested that we review it for the masses as they found it to be quite enjoyable. Well ask and you shall receive…We decided to review the product and we noticed right away that at the very least there is some value to our readers.

Udderly Smooth comes in 16 ounce containers and is priced rather affordably. We wanted to take a closer look at the ingredients included in this product to see if we could understand why. This is what we found:

Water (Deionized) (Aqua), Stearic Acid, PEG 2 Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Myristate, Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil, Mineral Oil, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance

There are a few things that are very pronounced on this list. The first of which is the use of parabens. Parabens are preservatives that have been linked to problem skin conditions. If at all possible, you would prefer to refrain from the use of any parabens. However, there were also ome ingredients that are quite exciting.

Lanolin Oil, Mineral Oil and Allantoin are all exciting natural ingredients that have the potential to be rather effective if formulated correctly.

It seemed that Udderly Smooth did just that. The quality of their foot cream was good, it was clearly not the best foot cream on the market, although they make no claims of it being so. The foot cream penetrated the skin rapidly and was readily absorbed leaving the skin softer and smooth to the touch. For normal to light dry foot conditions Udderly Smooth appears to be a winner. If you have a more severe foot condition or the dryness has graduated on to splitting and cracking of the skin, you would want to look at another foot cream, but for standard maintenance, Udderly Smooth is a nice and cheap foot cream.

It is hard enough to find an effective foot cream or heal treatment, but when you finally do and it smells terrible it makes it hard to keep using. The author examines these low quality heal treatment sticks and offers consumers a far superior, higher quality foot cream alternative...without the smell!

Anyone that has ever experienced severe dry feet or the cracking of the heels knows that finding an effective treatment is difficult. So many foot creams promise to deliver the results and yet so few can actually repair the damaged tissue that it can get frustrating and your cracked heels become painful. The solutions that have existed, until now, have predominently been treatments for the heal only and not the entire foot. And these treatments smelled terrible, an ordor unpleasant enough that it was hard to use, even if it WAS an effective solution.

Certain ingredients will create a product that smells less than appealing. Some common combinations of oils that do not smell good together but are notoriously effective are Neem Oil and Karanja Oil. These two oils are a powerful combination in the soothing, and treating of dry cracked skin, but the pungent scent is difficult to endure. For years consumers who were lucky enough to have finally found an accpetable treatment were forced to survive it’s smell.

That is until recently. Scientists have combined two separate schools of thought of foot treatment into one and the solution they have found is rather exciting. Some scientists believe that it is best to treat the damaged tissue as mentioned above, with the use of Neem and Karanja Oils. And it certainly is an effective way to do so. But other scientists believing in remedying the pain with soothing and cooling oils such as Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils.

Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils and even Manuka Oil will will provide an antiseptic, a cooling from the Menthol and a numbing of the pain from an antihistamine in the Manuka Oil. It provides relief for damaged tissue allowing it to repair itself more efficiently.

A bi-product of combining these two schools of thought is that not only do you get the best of two different foot treatments, but you also get the aromatherapeutic benefits of the peppermint and eucalyptus oils. It seems common sense enough, but for centuries the two treatments have existed separate from one another and now combined they are revolutionizing the foot cream industry as we know it.
