Udderly Smooth Foot Cream Review

March 13, 2010

You may or may not have heard of this interesting little gimick foot cream.  One of our readers suggested that we review it for the masses as they found it to be quite enjoyable.  Well ask and you shall receive…We decided to review the product and we noticed right away that at the very least there is some value to our readers.

Udderly Smooth comes in 16 ounce containers and is priced rather affordably.  We wanted to take a closer look at the ingredients included in this product to see if we could understand why.  This is what we found:

Water (Deionized) (Aqua), Stearic Acid, PEG 2 Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Myristate, Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil, Mineral Oil, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance

There are a few things that are very pronounced on this list.  The first of which is the use of parabens.  Parabens are preservatives that have been linked to problem skin conditions.  If at all possible, you would prefer to refrain from the use of any parabens.  However, there were also ome ingredients that are quite exciting.

Lanolin Oil, Mineral Oil and Allantoin are all exciting natural ingredients that have the potential to be rather effective if formulated correctly.

It seemed that Udderly Smooth did just that.  The quality of their foot cream was good, it was clearly not the best foot cream on the market, although they make no claims of it being so.  The foot cream penetrated the skin rapidly and was readily absorbed leaving the skin softer and smooth to the touch.  For normal to light dry foot conditions Udderly Smooth appears to be a winner.  If you have a more severe foot condition or the dryness has graduated on to splitting and cracking of the skin, you would want to look at another foot cream, but for standard maintenance, Udderly Smooth is a nice and cheap foot cream.
